  16. ATAPI:
  17. Allows you to use ANY ATAPI device with your Amiga, including
  18. ANY ATAPI 1.2 compliant IDE/ATAPI CD-ROM, LS120 ATAPI Floppy drive,
  19. TORiSAN ATAPI CD-ROM changer, NEC 4x4 changer and more!!!!
  20. Supports reading of CDDA data from IDE port (requires MakeCD or
  21. similar ATAPI CD-Reader program).

  23. ATAPI CD-ROM changers:
  24. ATAPI drivers and CacheCDFS are modified to support ATAPI changers
  25. like TORiSAN and NEC changers. You can either use a seperate changer
  26. utility to change to the desired disk, or you can mount each disk

  91. IDEfix, atapi.device, installation routines:

  93. - Added support for the SpeedUp 4-drive adapter by VOB on A600/A1200/A4000
  94.   embedded IDE-port. A lot of people asked for this, as the original VOB
  95.   drivers seem to work unreliable.

  104. - Added code to recognize OEM-EIDE ZIP drives as removable.
  105.   However, it is still not confirmed, if it works.

  107. - If IDEfix runs from chip-memory (e.g. installed with LoadIDE) it copies
  108.   itself to fast memory at initialisation, improving performance.

  110. - Avoids accidental "double-mounting" of volume, if patched "live" into system
  111.   (not loaded with LoadIDE) as reported from some customers.

  113. - Has atapi.device embedded. ATAPI units can be accessed with atapi.device as
  114.   before, or through scsi.device (if IDEfix is running).
  115.   As a side effect, ATAPI devices are visible at boot time.

  117. - Has MountLS120 embedded, so booting from ATAPI Floppies (LS-120) or ATAPI-ZIP
  118.   drives is possible. CrossDos will automatically mounted, if present.
  119.   If a medium WITH RDSK Block is present at boot time, it will be mounted as
  120.   a removeable harddisk (for compatibility with formatted ZIP or SyQuest media).
  121.   If no or an unformatted medium is present, it will be mounted as a floppy.
  122.   This mechanism works with EIDE drives (SyQuest EZ), too!
  123.   The BootPriority is as follows: DF4 - 4, DF5 - 3. DF6 - 2, etc.
  124.   NOTE: To boot from an ATAPI/IDE floppy, a bootblock must be present.
  125.   You can add one by typing install DFx:
  126.   NOTE: After installing an IDE/ATAPI floppy, you must adjust the "last-RDSK"
  127.   flags on your existing harddisks. To do so, start HDToolBox after IDEfix is
  128.   running and save changes to your harddisks.
