  3.                         DATA CONVERSION - 2.x TO 3.x

  5.      In order to implement some of the new features of Recipe Maker, the 
  6. database format had to be changed.  Some of the changes that made the data 
  7. conversion necessary were the additions of the PREPARATION field and the
  8. COUPON TRACKING.  As a result of these changes, the 2.x or earlier data 
  9. files are not directly compatible with Recipe Maker 3.0.
  10.  
  11.      The first time that you start Recipe Maker 3.0, the software will 
  12. detect that the data files are from an earlier version and present you with 
  13. the option to convert the data files or exit the software.  Before making the 
  14. conversion, you should make a backup copy of all of the .DB and .IDX files.  
  15. The conversion process will also make a backup copy of the original 2.x 
  16. files under another name.

  24.      Recipe Maker is not public domain, nor is it free software.  You are 
  25. granted a limited license to use this product on a trial basis.  You are 
  26. also granted a license to copy Recipe Maker, along with the documentation, 
  27. for the trial use by other users.  Recipe Maker has not been intentionally 
  28. crippled or limited in its functionality in any way.  If you wish to continue
