  1. Thank you for taking the time to try SID.  Before using SID, you must run the
  2. QuickPrefs program to create the preferences files that SID needs to run on
  3. your system.  Not only will QuickPrefs create the necessary preferences
  4. files, it will also copy the SID program, documentation, and on-line help
  5. files to your system.

  7. Once SID is up and running, be sure to select "Help" from the "Program" menu.
  8. This will alert you to some of the hidden features of SID which would not
  9. otherwise be obvious, such as how to invoke on-line help, how to edit
  10. buttons, menus, and keyboard shortcuts, etc.
