  21.      Installing Adapter Support under Windows NT
  22.  
  23.      If you are installing a new adapter, you MUST install the
  24.      adapter driver on your system BEFORE you can install ToolsNT
  25.      software to support your Iomega drive.  If you are
  26.      installing a Jaz jet PCI adapter, Jaz Traveller, or parallel
  27.      port Zip drive, install the necessary Iomega driver from the
  28.      Windows NT Install diskette that came with the adapter or
  29.      drive (see Section 2 for instructions).  For other Iomega
  30.      adapters, install the native NT driver support included with
  31.      Windows NT (see Section 3 for instructions).  If you are
  32.      using a non-Iomega SCSI adapter, refer to your Windows NT
  33.      documentation for instructions on installing a SCSI adapter
  34.      or refer to the documentation that came with the adapter.

  39.      Driver Installation from the Iomega Install Diskette
  40.  
  41.      The Iomega Install diskette for Windows NT that ships with
  42.      your Iomega drive or adapter includes software drivers for:
  43.  
  44.          Iomega parallel port products (including Jaz Traveller
  45.           and the parallel port Zip drive) 
  46.  
  47.          Jaz jet PCI (PC/Mac model)
  48.      
  49.      You can install either of these drivers using the following
  50.      procedures.

  54.      Section 2.1
  55.      Iomega Driver Installation under Windows NT 4.0
  56.  
  57.       1.  Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control
  58.           Panel.
  59.  
  60.       2.  Double click "SCSI Adapters."
  61.  
  62.       3.  Select the "Drivers" tab and click the "Add" button.
  63.  
  64.       4.  Click "Have Disk" and insert the Iomega Install
  65.           diskette for Windows NT into the computer's floppy
  66.           drive.
  67.  
  68.       5.  Click "Browse" and select the drive letter for the
  69.           floppy drive.
  70.  
  71.       6.  Select the folder for the adapter you are installing
  72.           and click "Open," then click "OK."

  74.       7.  When the list of Iomega adapters appears, highlight the
  75.           adapter you are using and click "Next" to continue.

  77.       8.  Click "OK" for Windows NT to install the necessary
  78.           adapter drivers on your system.

  81.           system for the new drivers to take effect.

  86.      Iomega Driver Installation under Windows NT 3.51
  87.  
  88.       1.  From the Windows NT Main icon, double-click on the
  89.           Windows NT Setup icon.
  90.  
  91.       2.  From the Setup window, choose the Options pull-down
  92.           menu, select "Add/Remove SCSI adapter," then click
  93.           "Add."
  94.  
  95.       3.  Scroll down the adapter list box and click on "Other."
  96.  
  97.       4.  Insert the Iomega Install diskette for Windows NT into
  98.           the computer's floppy drive.
  99.  
  100.       5.  Select the drive letter for the floppy drive and the
  101.           folder for the adapter you are installing, then click
  102.           "OK."

  104.       6.  When the list of Iomega adapters appears, highlight the
  105.           adapter you are using and click "OK."

  107.       7.  Click "Install."  Windows NT will automatically copy
  108.           the driver files and add the driver to the list of
  109.           adapters found by the operating system.

  111.       8.  Reboot your computer to configure the driver for your
  112.           system.

  119.      Windows NT includes native driver support for the following
  120.      Iomega adapters:

  133.      Native Driver Installation under Windows NT 4.0

  135.       1.  Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control
  136.           Panel.

  138.       2.  Double click "SCSI Adapters."

  140.       3.  Select the "Drivers" tab and click the "Add" button.

  142.       4.  Select "Adaptec" from the list of manufacturers.

  144.       5.  When the list of Adaptec SCSI Adapters displays, select
  145.           the driver needed for your adapter:

  166.      Native Driver Installation under Windows NT 3.51

  168.       1.  From the Windows NT Main icon, double-click on the
  169.           Windows NT Setup icon.

  171.       2.  From the Setup window, choose the Options pull-down
  172.           menu, select "Add/Remove SCSI adapter", then click Add.

  184.           dialogue box.  The Adaptec driver for your adapter

  186.           Windows NT.
