In this seven-card variation of Spit-in-the-Ocean, each player gets four face-down cards followed by three cards dealt face down to the widow. The widow cards are exposed one at a time, with a betting round after each. The last card exposed in the widow, and all other cards of the same rank become wild. In the showdown, each player selects any five cards from among his four and the three on the table. The value of your hand can change dramatically when the final widow card (which determines the rank of wild cards) is flipped over. Since there are only four wild cards and everyone has at least one, hands should not be valued as highly as in Deuces Wild. Don't trust anything less than four-of-a-kind to win.
