  4. in the direction of 1 toward 8 when clocked.
  5. Clocking is accomplished on the low- to high
  6. level edge of the clock pulse.
  7. A direct reset input overrides all other inputs,
  8. including the clock, and sets all flip-flips to
  9. zero.
