  1.            Example Root Directory

  3. This is an example JFS root directory, containing
  4. the basic files and directories needed by the
  5. JFS server. They are:
  6.  
  7. /etc - Where the server configuration files live.
  8.        Here you can find :
  9. /etc/printers - The list of printers accessible
  10.                 through the JFS server. By default,
  11.                 this contains only one default printer.
  12. /etc/users - The list of users recognized by the server.
  13.              Contains only the user 'root'.
  14. /etc/programs - JFScomponent-derived client classes,
  15.                 possibly with associated MIME types.
  16. /etc/properties - Persistant server properties.

  19. /dev - Normal directory for device driver files.
  20.        Contains :
  21. /dev/Printer - printing through the server
  22. /dev/Server - server status and control
  23. /dev/TCP - network connection proxy for clients
  24. /dev/Web - WWW proxy for clients

  27. /tmp - Temporary files created by client programs.
  28.        Empty by default.

  31. /home - User home directories.
  32.        Empty by default.
