These scripts will autodial into a SLIP line with dynamic
IP addresses. If you find something better, send me a copy!
These are not pretty, but they work well for me. No guarantees
expressed or implied and I won't be held responsible for loss
of money or life or having your passwords recorded and e-mailed
to me so I can post to comp.sys.amiga.advocacy in your name. ;-)
Ok, setup is fairly simple...
Copy Dial.scp* To AmiTCP:
Copy Online.vlt* To AmiTCP:
Copy VTPrefs_SLIP.dat To S:
You need to edit the default tool for Dial.scp.info
and give it the propper path for the VLT executable.
The scripts will need editing for userid and passwords
(if needed for your system) and such. I commented the
important parts, and it's not too complex a script anyway.
Click on "Dial.scp" to autodial and start AmiTCP.
If you get a crash and reboot and still have the
modem connection, run Online.vlt to reconnect
without redialing.
Sorry about the icon colors. Been using my own custom WB
colors since OS2.04 and I'm not going to change now! :-)
Send any money, cars, computers or comments to my e-mail address.
