  9. Due to USA export restrictions for cryptographic software the program may
  10. not be distributed on AmiNet. This archive contains only the announcement
  11. sent to c.s.a.announce together with the chapter of the documentation
  12. describing the program.

  14. If you are interested in the program, look at the AmiNet site
  15. "ftp.uni-paderborn.de" or "kelly.uni-paderborn.de" in the directory
  16. "util/crypt" for the last official version. You will also find the most

  21. Description
  22. ~~~~~~~~~~~
  23. DiskProtection encrypts data totally invisible for the user while writing to
  24. disk. All blocks are encrypted, so the directories are protected, too.
  25. DiskProtection supports all exec devices, i.e. harddrive partititions,
  26. floppy disks, but not the RAM-disk. Any filesystem can be used.

  30.  - (XPK-)interface for additional algorithms
  31.  - configurable with easy to use preferences program

  53. Requirements

  55. DiskProtection requires OS2.0 and Triton-Library 1.4. A minimum distribution
  56. is included in this archive, but you should better look out for the complete
  57. archive "util/libs/tri14usr.lha" on AmiNet.
