  2. GNU Ghostview 1.5 AmiWin port
  3. =============================
  4. This port requires:
  5.  
  6. - AmiWin, a shareware X11R6 server ported to the amiga by Holger Kruse.
  7.   You can find an evaluation version of AmiWin on Aminet. I strongly recommend
  8.   to register your version of AmiWin, it's a great software.
  9.  
  10. - An Amiga with at least a 68020 CPU and Kickstart 2.04 or higher.
  11.  
  12. - The ghostscript port for AmiWin. Archive gfx/x11/GS-AmiWin.lha on Aminet.
  13.  
  14. - The fifo.library and fifo-handler. You can find them on Aminet in the
  15.   archive util/misc/fifolib374.lzh.
  16.  
  17. - The APipe-Handler. You can find it on Aminet in the archive
  18.   util/shell/APipe_37_7.lha.
  19.  
  20. Installation is very simple: execute the script install-ghostview and you're
  21. done.

  23. The sources in the "Ghostview-src.lha" archive are ready to be compiled on the
  24. Amiga with SAS/C 6.56. In the lib directory you will find a unix emulation link
  25. library for SAS/C 6.56. It was adapted from the one in the sas-unix-lib.lha
  26. archive on Aminet.

  28. In the bin directory you can also find scc, a front-end to sc using a semi-unix
  29. syntax (it was adapted from the package cc.lha on Aminet). Finally in the
  30. include directory there are the includes needed by the unix emulation library.

  32. To recompile the sources you need the GNU make or have to adapt the Makefile
  33. for smake (sorry, but I have an imake configured for SAS/C which produces
  34. Makefiles that smake cannot deal with).
