  7.   MacJoy is mainly a joystick support for the Macintosh emulators Shape
  8. Shifter and Emplant (probably also A-Max IV but I couldn't test it).  Since
  9. there are a lot of Mac games that work well with these emulators, you may
  10. want to play them using your usual Amiga joystick.

  12.   All Mac games give at least keyboard support; MacJoy remaps gameport
  13. events to keyboard events so that moving joystick is the same as pressing
  14. keys.  Try it and you'll see that playing a Mac game is exactly as playing
  15. an Amiga game with real joystick support.

  17.   In this archive you find two small utilities, MacJoy and MacJoyPad.
  18. MacJoy handles only joystick and uses gameport.device.  MacJoyPad handles
  19. both joystick and the CD32 joypad but requires lowlevel.library, not
  20. included.

  22.   These utilities probably can be useful also for some Amiga applications
  23. or other emulators, they work for every application that uses the Amiga OS.
  24. I did everything possible to make them compatible and OS friendly; I have
  25. not used any hack or illegal patch.
