  5.                While there are no hard and fast rules as to what you
  6.        should and should not do on a BBS, it is important to not to
  7.        out-stay your welcome!  If you just use your common sense and
  8.        think of yourself as a guest in your SysOp's home, you shouldn't
  9.        have any troubles. Here are a few suggestions that would probably
  10.        be expected of users on any BBS:

  12.          1.) SysOps like users who contribute something to  the  board
  13.              as well as getting something from it. This  doesn't  mean
  14.              that  you  are  expected to spend your whole time on-line
  15.              uploading hundreds of files.  However you should not log
  16.              onto a board, download files and then hang right up
  17.              everytime you log on!  This will ensure you will not remain
  18.              welcome on the board. Think of yourself as a guest in
