│ What is CC-Holiday? 1 │
└─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
CC-Holiday is an automated Canadian holiday message maker for the BBS SysOp.
This program will generate ANSI, and ASCII screens for a Bulletin Board
System. Screens will appear on the BBS during Canadian holidays such as
Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day, etc. The purpose
of this program is to make the life of a SysOp easier so he/she can do other
more important functions towards the BBS.
Once this program is set up correctly it is completely self powered. By this
I mean that the SysOp does not have to check up on it once a day, or even once
a year! This program will generate Canadian holiday bulletins and the SysOp
doesn't even have to lift a finger.

│ Using CC-Holiday (SetUp) 3 │
└─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
To set up CC-Holiday simply put it into your display directory. By this I
mean, put the CC-Holiday files in with your ANSI and ASCII files. Then run
the file SETUP.EXE and follow the online instructions. Once you have done
this you are ready to set up CC-Holiday as an event on your BBS. Refer to
your BBS documentation for more information on this topic. Your event should
execute the file HOLIDY.EXE once per day.
For SpitFire systems, edit your SF.BAT file to look something like this:
Event_A
REM Event for CC-Holiday
CD\SF\DISPLAY
HOLIDAY.EXE
CD\SF
GOTO LOOP:

Why do I get an "Error in Configuration File" message?
Please run the SETUP.EXE file.
Why doesn't the ANSI and ASCII screens show up on my BBS, even after they have
been made and are sitting in my display directory?
Make sure the graphic file names are correct. Run SETUP.EXE to change the
graphic file names. Your BBS software must be able to recognize the name you
enter. For SpitFire systems, I recommend the file names ALL.BBS for the
ASCII file, and ALL.CLR for the ANSI file.
Why should I register this program?
So you can raise your CyCom programers self esteem, as well as ensure the
continual development of products like this.
It just wont work, why?
If your having major problems, please call Components BBS, at (416)-827-6284,
or write to me (Address is stated above).
