  1.                        The Daily Horoscope Version 3.1

  5.   This program will require your name to play when in LOCAL mode. To call up
  6.   this program, you need to have a .CFG file present in in the current
  7.   directory.
  8.  
  9.   Modify the supplied DHSCOPE3.CFG to your needs.  It is commented and contains
  10.   information not supplied here.
  11.  
  12.   To invoke this program in local mode, simply type DHSCOPE3 or DHSCOPE3 LOCAL
  13.   at the DOS prompt.  Or to get this help type DHSCOPE3 ? at the DOS prompt.

  15.   To set this program up as a door, modify the supplied DHSCOPE3.CFG and use
  16.   the command DHSCOPE3 DHSCOPE3.CFG at the DOS prompt. You can change the name
  17.   of the .CFG file and include drive and pathname.

  24.   To create bulletins of the complete horoscopes for all zodiac signs, use the
  25.   following switches:
  26.  
  27.      /B=D:\path\filename  -  Creates a bulletin with all horoscopes in the
  28.                              path directory, on drive D: as filename.  Note
  29.                              If drive, path or filename are not included,
  30.                              the default filename will be DHSCOPE. and
  31.                              DHSCOPEG. in the current directory.

  33.      /PCB                 -  Will generate PCBoard color codes in the
  34.                              bulletin.
  35.  
  36.      /ANSI                -  Will generate two files; "filename" in ASCII
  37.                              text and "filenameG" in ANSI color.
  38.  
  39.      /NOASK               -  Will override the "see all horoscopes" prompt.
  40.                              FOR REGISTERED USERS ONLY!
  41.  
  42.      /NOCAL               -  Will suppress generating the calender during
  43.                              door operations.  Does not effect bulletin
  44.                              generations.  FOR REGISTERED USERS ONLY!

  49.      /RAND                -  Will scramble the sentences each time the user
  50.                              enters the door.  Does not generate a different
  51.                              horoscope, just rearranges the sentences.

  53.   Here's some examples:

  55.  DHSCOPE3 /B=C:\BBS\BULLETIN\BLT99 /ANSI
  56.  
  57.   Will create BLT99 in ASCII and BLT99G in ANSI on drive C: in the \BBS\BULLTIN
  58.   directory.

  60.  DHSCOPE3 /B /PCB
  61.  
  62.   Will create DHSCOPE in PCBoard color codes in the current directory.

  64.  DHSCOPE3 NODE2.CFG /RAND /NOASK
  65.  
  66.   Will run the program as a door, mixing the sentences each time with no
  67.   prompt to see all the horoscopes, using the NODE2.CFG configuration file.

  71.   If an error occurs during program execution a file named DHSCOPE3.ERR will
  72.   be created in the current directory and specify the error with a brief
  73.   description.  Type this file if an error occurs to see what you may have to
  74.   change to fix it.  If the error cannot be fixed, let me know exactly what
  75.   the file contains.  Also, if an error occurs that is not due to a program
  76.   malfunction, or due to invalid data a program counter number will be
  77.   displayed.  Please write down this information as well as what occured
  78.   before the error so that it can be recreated and correctly fixed.  I am
  79.   confident that there should be no errors within this program.  I hope that
  80.   you enjoy this program, and have fun with it.
