EasyBoard Venray RemoteAccess/Pro Brochure 931220
------------------------------------------------------------------------
BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER
Wherever they are - in the next room or on the other side of the world.
A Bulletin Board System is the fastest, most cost-effective, and secure
way of linking people together - both privately and for open discussion.
But E-Mail is just one of RemoteAccess' many talents. Add a modem and a
telephone line, and you have a 24 hour hotline which anyone with a
computer and a modem can access. Here are just a few of the many appli-
cations that RemoteAccess is used for today:
* Enabling sales representatives to automatically receive new
product information while working in the field,
* Providing a 24 hour technical support line for computer hard-
ware and software customers, including inexpensive and effi-
cient distribution of software upgrades,
* Sending important information quickly and safely between a
number of remote locations. (Sending text-based information is
faster and less expensive than using a Fax),
* Providing public and private information database services for
members of professional associations and other organisations,
* Opening up new channels through which products and services
can be sold 24 hours a day,
* RemoteAccess is also used in a number of schools and colleges
to give students an introduction into the exciting world of
electronic communications.
EASY TO SET UP, EVEN EASIER TO USE
Choose the ready-to-go configuration we provide and you'll be waiting
for your first call twenty minutes later. Make a few changes and you'll
get a taste of real power. Our integrated full-screen configuration
manager places total control at your fingertips, all in one highly
intuitive environment. In fact, you'll discover that there isn't much
you can't change to suit your requirements. Right down to the exact
colour and text of everything your users see - and you don't need to
know anything about programming, either.
Your users will be amazed at how easy RemoteAccess is to use, even if
they have never used a computer and a modem before. With RemoteAccess
they won't even need to type in their name! (Requires compatible termi-
nal software).
It all comes down to complete management of your online environment -
from state-of-the-art user and security management to unparallelled
flexibility.
YOU GET EVERYTHING IN ONE CONVENIENT PACKAGE
The best E-mail around. Enter and read messages using our easy to learn
fullscreen user interface. Send messages to individuals as well as
groups of users with powerful facilities such as carbon copies, return
receipts and auto-message forwarding. RemoteAccess allows you to define
thousands of separate message areas, each with their own read, write and
sysop access criteria.
Want to send that Lotus or WordPerfect data file to a friend or associa-
te? RemoteAccess has a comprehensive file transfer system to make any
file transfer task a snap. Attach files to messages, or make them
available to groups of users. Send and receive files with advanced
transfer protocols such as Zmodem, or use your own external protocol
modules. Scan uploads and maintain file areas complete automatically -
our file database system provides convenient and flexible search facili-
ties to enable you and your users to find any file with a minimum of
effort.
Other features include multi-lingual support, a questionnaire scripting
language, automated user subscription and accounting system, full
network support, real-time conferencing, and compatibility with hundreds
of third-party optional modules.
Add to all of this a proven track record; RemoteAccess is the package of
choice at thousands of installations worldwide. High quality and timely
software upgrades keep you at the leading edge of BBS technology.
PEACE OF MIND
In today's world of telecommunications technology and hackers, nothing
can be taken for granted. You must always assume that someone will try
to break it or steal it - for no reason other than the challenge. Now
you don't have to worry. We're minding the store for you with our built-
in security features.
RemoteAccess allows you to configure security level and access flag
setting combinations for message areas and groups, file areas and
groups, menu items, languages and more. Yet security levels and access
flags are not the extent of the security features you'll find in Remote-
Access. Every feature was implemented with security in mind. Features
such as forced user password changes (optional), minimum password
lengths, security filters and security watchdog message functions all
work together to ensure a secure operating environment.
THE BEST TECHNICAL SUPPORT
All of our authorised resellers have specialised knowledge in the area
of E-mail and data communications. You will always receive quality
support because they know the product. Our people are all software
professionals who are dedicated to providing you with the best service
in the business.
