  8.   Welcome to InterMall... The future of Online Shopping!  InterMall is unique
  9. in that it not only combines the most popular features of other Online Shopping
  10. Programs (And More!) but also adds the ability to transfer "stores" and orders
  11. across Bulletin Board Systems in other Cities and Countries!  So don't be
  12. surprised if you find businesses located in the mall from all corners of the
  13. U.S.A. but other countries as well.
  14.   InterMall is divided into "sections".  You can navigate between these sections
  15. at the menus by pressing the ] key or the ] key or by pressing the Highlighted
  16. letter or numbers.
  17.   The first thing you might want to do (After reading these instructions, of
  18. course) is view the Mall Map.  The mall map is simply a listing of all the
  19. businesses located in the mall, what they specialize in and where they are
  20. located.
  21.   Next You'll probably want to Browse or Shop! the businesses.  For your
  22. convenience, each store in the mall has up to 10 departments.  For example,
  23. a book store may have a horror, science-fiction and romance department.  When
  24. you select Browse/Shop from the main menu, you are presented with a list of
  25. all the current businesses in the mall.  Follow the directions at the prompt
  26. line.  After you have selected a business to shop, a brief introduction screen
  27. is presented; then the Shop/Browse Menu is presented.
  28.   You can Browse/Shop products of a store in a department either Forward or
  29. Reverse. You can change Departments by selecting  Change Department at the
  30. menu. You will then be presented a list of departments to choose from.  You
  31. can browse the entire store by selecting the Individual or Keyword Search at
  32. the menu.  While browsing you can order by pressing O.  It will then ask you
  33. for a quantity and keep a running total of your order (Some times items will
  34. be on sale!).  You can veiw/edit your order AFTER ordering where you can
  35. delete items from your order.  IMPORTANT: YOU MUST PROCESS YOUR ORDER BEFORE
  36. GOING BACK TO THE MAIN MENU OR YOUR ORDER WILL BE LOST! (If you have ordered
  37. anything, that is).  When processing your order, just follow the instructions.
  38. You can abort processing at various times during the processing.  At the end
  39. of the processing of the order, you have a choice of downloading your order form
  40. so you can Mail, Phone in or Fax your order to the business. OR you can elect
  41. to SEND your order online to the store.  If the "Home BBS" of the Business is
  42. located at a BBS other than this one, it will transfer your order to that bbs.
  43. The business will then download and process your order. IMPORTANT: YOU NEED TO
  44. BE AWARE OF TWO IMPORTANT ITEMS - 1) IF YOU ORDER BY CREDIT CARD YOUR # CAN
  45. BE SEEN ON THE LOCAL SIDE OF THIS DOOR AND IF YOU ORDER BY CREDIT CARD AND
  46. HAVE IT SENT VIA BBS THEN YOUR NUMBER WILL BE ON A FILE ON THE BBS UNTIL THE
  47. BUSINESS CAN DOWNLOAD AND DELETE YOUR ORDER.  2) THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT
  48. IF THE ORDER IS SENT VIA BBS IT WILL BE RECEIVED.
  49.   If you are interested in opening a store in the mall then download the
  50. Offline Manager.  Just be sure to get a password and Code before you operate
  51. it.
  52.   If you are already a store owner and use the store manager menu, be sure to
  53. have the code and password the SysOp has given you to access your store.
