  4.         In order to install this McAfee product you must first uncompress
  5.         (unzip) the entire set of lai-313x.zip files that you downloaded
  6.     from the McAfee BBS; each .zip should be uncompressed into its
  7.     own directory.
  8.  
  9.         Uncompressing(unzipping) these files in this fashion will result 
  10.     in the creation 
  11.         of a number of diskette sized subdirectories called  Disk1, Disk2, 
  12.         Disk3, etc.  Be sure to use the -d parameter when unzipping the 
  13.         Disks.zip file so that the subdirectories will be created. If you 
  14.         wish to install your McAfee product from diskettes, you can easily 
  15.         copy the contents of each subdirectory to a diskette.

  17.         All McAfee products are easy to install using the setup.exe file 
  18.         that is located in the subdirectory Disk1 or on diskette number 1 
  19.         if you are installing from diskettes. You must run the setup.exe 
  20.         program to install McAfee products. The program files are compressed 
  21.         and if you simply copy the files from the subdirectories or diskettes 
  22.         there is the chance that important setup procedures may be bypassed 
  23.         which will cause unpredictable results.

  25.         You will need to use the Windows file manager or file run feature 
  26.         to execute the setup.exe program.  You can do this by changing the 
  27.         current directory to the location of the Disk1 subdirectory or to 
  28.         the diskette drive that contains diskette number 1 and double 
  29.         clicking on setup.exe.

  31.         From this point on you will be prompted by the software to complete 
  32.         the install.  The complete installation procedure is documented 
  33.         in the doc.zip file which you downloaded from the McAfee BBS. 
  34.         It will be necessary to unzip this file to make it readable. 
  35.         After you have successfully loaded the product there is a readme.txt 
  36.         file available which contains important information not included in 
  37.         the doc.zip file.
