User Response Questionaire
I would like to ask you to take the time to complete the following
informal questionaire.
Why a questionaire?
Well, we have been writing doors and other BBS related programs for a
few years now, and feel we are doing the best job we can do. However,
there are times when we wonder if we could be doing something a little
bit different and acheive better results.
It is my personal opinion that when it comes to installing new software
on your system, first impressions are VERY important. We would like to
hear 'your' first impressions.
What makes a good program? Sure, it must DO what it says it will do,
but even more importantly, it must be easy to install, and it has to
work the first time! There are always going to be situations where it
does not work right out of the box, this is to be expected by any
software developer.
So, if it works for 95% of the people, what about the other 5%?
There must be a way in which they can contact the author. Now, keeping
in mind, the relatively low prices of shareware software, whats the
best way of handling this? This is where YOUR opinions are important!
Afterall, if you fall into that 5% catagory, what are you going to do?
Currently we have our own distribution network set up using FidoNet
technology, and find that FidoNet is a satisfactory way for about 75%
of the Sysops. (Based on registrations received) Ok, so what if you
fall into the 25% without FidoNet access? Well, we offer a voice
support line in Canada. We also have a number of BBS's which act as
Support Sites which you can call. These Sysops may not be able to
answer all your questions, but they will forward any questions to us,
and you should receive a response from us on the same system.
We have also expanded the number of Registration Sites around the
world, and they can all process Credit Card Orders.
In North America, Credit Card Orders may be phoned into the Voice
Support Line will be processed immediately, and arrangements made to
get your key(s) to you, usually within minutes!
Please take the time to complete the following so we may continue to
offer you the best support possible, and produce top quality software
you are proud to run on your BBS. Your honest answers, even when you
have a complaint, will best help us to serve you better.
