SOURC35D 05/28/92 Rev. D
These files are intended to be used with Robocomm V4.1. I have been testing
and modifying the prompts for WildCat V3.02 (or later) until they will work
with WildCat beta V3.5, at The Source! BBS.
Prompt file for The Source!, running WildCat V3.5 beta:
The file SOURCE.WPF is a prompt set that I have found to be very effective
on The Source! BBS, running WildCat V3.5 beta. These prompts will allow
you to send and receive mail from Tomcat. They will also allow you to
download files. Unfortunately, these prompts will not let you upload files
to WildCat V3.5. The file 1FILEUP.RS can be used to upload files to
WildCat V3.5 beta. See below for additional information about uploads.
The prompt file SOURCE.WPF will need to be Imported into the BBS system.
Listed below are the steps necessary to Import the prompt file:
1. Select Directory from Robocomm's main menu.
2. Select BBS Systems.
3. Hi-light the SOURCE and press P for Prompts.
4. Press I for Import.
5. Type: SOURCE.WPF and press Enter.
5. That's it, you're ready to call The Source!
Upload Script:
The file 1FILEUP.RS is a script that will upload files to The Source!,
running WildCat V3.5 beta. The script will prompt you for a file name
and a file description.
Note: Do not include ".ZIP" extension as part of the file name.
The input field for file the description is greater than
allowed by WildCat. Be careful not to exceed 60 character
for a file description.
Before using the script you will need to modify the UPLOAD path to match
you own upload path. The script was written for my upload path; you MUST
change it to match your upload path or the script will not work!
Example: UPLOAD "C:\ROBO\GET\%P1%.ZIP" USING ZMODEM
^^^^^^^^^^^^
Find this line in the script and change the path to match your upload
path. You may also need to change the protocol if you use a different
protocol.
The script can be added to any Agenda item during the Edit process.
Simply select "E" for Execute Script File and fill in the information
as you are prompted.
The script can be called as many times as needed. For example, if you
have 3 files for upload, you can select Execute Script File, 3 times.
Example:

SOURC35D 05/28/92 Rev. D
I did some testing of my last edit and found that by changing the prompt
"NOT ENOUGH CREDIT" to "RATIO" would give an error and prevented file
downloads. I put this prompt back the way it was and all is well again.
======================================================================
SOURC35C 05/23/92 Rev. C
I changed the byte limit prompt from "UPLOAD/DOWNLOAD" to "DAILY K-BYTE".
Previously, Robocomm would incorrectly report the file(s) as "not on the
Source". This change will allow Robocomm to correctly report that you
have insufficient bytes to download. This change has been tested.
I also changed "NOT ENOUGH CREDIT" to "RATIO". This change (not tested)
should read and report a denied download because the ratio limit was
exceeded.

SOURC35B 05/21/92 Rev. B
The prompt set has been modified to recognize a denied download
because of upload/download byte ratios.
The READ.ME file has been revised to include instructions for
modifying the upload path in the 1FILEUP.RS script.
