  3.         PC-FASTYPE - Quick HELP Facility -- Add More Letters Menu

  6.      When you select "Add More Letters" from the Beginner Drills Menu,
  7. another sub-menu will pop-up on the screen.  You can move the cursor bar
  8. to any of the letter selections and press ENTER to select those letters to
  9. be added to your drill list.

  12.      In normal typing practice you would select the letters in the
  13. sequence shown; that is, first the "e,i", then "q,w,o,p", and so on.
  14. However, PC-FASTYPE being as flexible as it is, will allow you to choose
  15. any set of letters to add to your drill list for practice typing.  Of
  16. course the purpose of the Add More Letters menu is to let you build up
  17. your typing "vocabulary" as your typing skills increase.

  20.      As you become more proficient in typing a specific set of letters you
  21. should select the next set in sequence from the list.  All of the letter
  22. sets you select will be check-marked on the screen menu.

  25.      If you check-mark all of the selections, your drills will include all
  26. of the letters of the alphabet, semi-colon, space bar, and enter key.

  29.      Notice that the home keys are also shown on the menu, and that they
  30. are permanently check-marked.  All drills will always include the home
  31. keys; these are the minimum letters that you can be drilled on.

  34.      If you want to remove some of these selections from your drill list,
  35. just move the cursor bar to the item and press the ENTER key.  These
  36. selections work like the Keyboard Helpers, they are TOGGLED on or off.
  37. A check-mark next to the item will indicate whether it's included or not.
  38. A quick way to remove the additional letters is to re-select HOME KEYS
  39. ONLY in the Beginner Drills Menu.
