  1. Changes to CompWar since version 1.00

  4. 1.1:   -Expert mode is off for new players, they thus
  5.         see the menu pop up at the prompt.
  6.  
  7.        -You can set the number of attacks each player
  8.         can have per day in the config.cw file.
  9.  
  10.        -The game no longer blabs that it's not registered
  11.         when you buy things. It only states it if you try to
  12.         buy something not available to unregistered games.
  13.  
  14.        -You are no longer limited as much in how many of
  15.         each type of item you can buy at once.
  16.  
  17.        -On the local end only the name of the player is
  18.         displayed at the main prompt.

  21. 1.2:   -Some minor bugs have been cleaned up.

  23.        -New sysop 'player-delete' function. 'K' command,
  24.         ('K' for 'kill')..
  25.  
  26.  
  27. 2.0:   -One MAJOR bug was eradicated. No longer do players
  28.         get infinite money once they've played for a while.

  33. To upgrade from an earlier version, simply unzip this into a temporary 
  34. location, and copy the CW.EXE and the CONFIG.CW files over the old ones. 
  35. Make sure that you know what your old config settings and registration 
  36. codes are before doing that so that you can re-do them...

  38. NOTE- if you are upgrading from a version OTHER than 1.0, you don't
  39.       have to copy the config file. You only have to use the new one
  40.       if you were usin version 1.0..
