  5. Ok.  This is my first door written in C.  I doubt any of you care
  6. what the source looks like (or will ever compile it).  But, if you
  7. do decide to look at it, sit down first.  I wouldn't want to be
  8. responsible for any serious accidents.  Back to reality...

  10. Dater is easy to set up.
  11. 1) Copy dater.exe into your bbs root directory.
  12. 2) create a subdirectory called "MATCHER" in your bbs directory.
  13. 3) Copy quest.txt into "MATCHER" subdirectory.
  14. 3) Install it in your list of chains.
  15.  
  16. That's it!

  18. If you want to change the directory (instead of "Matcher"), just
  19. change the constant at the beginning of the source, and recompile.
  20.  
  21. No registration is required for this door.  Don't send money for it
  22. (like I really have to tell you that...)  Feel free to modify it, and
  23. even change it... If you do change it and want to distribute it, I ask
  24. one small favor.  Include a text file with a list of modifications.  If
  25. you have something really nifty, tell me about it.

  27. If you want to change the questions, feel free.  The first 43 expect
  28. a "yes-no" question, and the last 3 expect a short answer (up to 3 lines).

  30. If you have a C-compiler, and don't know C, I recommend you look at the
  31. source anyway.  There are several things that are real easy to change
  32. at the top.
