DrugLord Online Help Command Summary
[?] - List a short description of available commands from current menu.
[Q] - Quit back to bbs or from current menu
[Z] - Display this file
[G] - Gang Menu. You can create gangs, join gangs, quit gangs, expel
other members from your gang, search for gang members, and change
the gang password or name. Similar to the team concept of other
games. There is currently a limit to 4 players per gang.
[M] - Move to another street adjacent to the street you currently occupy.
Beware of where you move though!
[I] - Displays your current information. Gives you info on turns left,
various weapons amounts, various stash amounts, and dealers and cash
amounts.
[Y] - Take a spin in your Limo. If you own a Limo this lets you have the
ability to tell "James" what street you would like to go to and he
will get you there in a flash. Beware though, there is always a
slight chance that you could be ambushed by another druglord or
being pulled over by the police. There is no way though to tell
which route "James" will take though. The city is an ever changing
place with many ways to get to the same spot. "James" will avoid
trouble whenever he can but you must make sure were you tell him
to take you is a clear area or you might face an attack.
[C] - Take a cab. This command does basically the same as the 'L' command
(Take a Limo) except your cab driver is not as skilled in avoiding
trouble as "James" is and your chances of being ambushed or being
pulled over by the police are significantly higher.
[S] - Snitch Menu. All good druglords rely on their snitch for valuable
info. Your snitch can tell you the current situation of another
street corner. He can also tell you where you currently have
crack houses and dealers at. He can also give you current drug
store reports and you can read the latest Detroit News too. Player
rankings are also available from this menu.
[P] - Take a peek at other streets adjacent to you. You can basically
"see" what is going on in any other street that is connected to
your street.
[F] - Leave dealers in current street. This lets you claim this street
as "yours". You can leave up to 2,000,000,000 dealers in any one
street to defend any interest you may have there.
[H] - Create/Enter a crack house. This allows you to either open a new
crack house in a street without one. Or if the street already has
a crack house, you can conduct business with it. This command also
permits you to invade a crack house that is not yours. If your
invasion is successful the house in yours.
[E] - Enter drugstore. Here is were the basis of the game is founded.
You can buy and sell syringes, pipes, and crack here to try and
build your wealth and empire. If you are in street 1 you will
be able to enter Mayor Z. Young's campaign headquarters and make
a "donation" to his fund in return for certain "privileges".
[D] - Leave pit bulls in current street. This lets you claim this street
as "yours". You can leave up to 2 bil pit bulls in one street.
They are a excellent form of defense for a street and are very
vicious.
[W] - Weapons/Attack menu. A fun menu at that. You can use any
weapons you own on other druglords from this menu. You can attack
their crack houses with Law's Rockets and Pipebombs. You can
attack their dealers and pit bulls in adjacent streets with your
tear gas and grenades. You can also attack police headquarters or
another druglord himself from this menu.
[T] - Toggle Local side number filter. This, when on, displays all *'s on the
local side where ever a number should be. This prevents the sysop from
spying on your locations. The sysop can also toggle it off anytime but
a '!' will appear on your command line.
[O] - Send mail to another Druglord. You can send up to a 10 line message
to any other druglord in the game. It is pretty straight forward.
Enjoy sending the threats.
[R] - Macro Utilities Menu. You can define, view and save macros here for
current and future game play.
[CTRL-N] - This invokes your currently defined macro. Each time you hit this
your macro that you have defined will be executed.
Other notes and Tips on Surviving
o You can carry up to 2,000,000,000 of any weapon or item at one time
during the game. You can have up to 65,000 mules at on time
to carry your syringes, pipes, or crack.
o To invade police headquarters you must be VERY powerful. I suggest
not even trying the idea unless you have around 1,800,000,000+ plus
dealers on you.
o To help stay alive while your still a "little" druglord you should
log off in street 4 where sanctuary is provided. This prohibits
other druglords from attacking and killing you.
o There is no "True" autopilot type function in this game. Just
cabs and limos. No one can predict what route you take in a
city like Detroit or if any one street will have any disruptions in
your trip. Detroit is an ever changing city, you have to beware
every second.
o The Detroit police go on "Raids" every night. Guard yourself
and empire accordingly.
o Finally. If you don't like this game or the ideas that are being
brought out in it, then don't play. You can change the channel
any time. I don't condone drugs or the use of them at all. My
goal in writing this game was to make everyone go "I can't believe
this". I have then good, I am sick of everyone not noticing the
problems of this city and if I make a few people turn their heads
and take notice maybe they will help this city. Also, to give
kids the chance to be "rebels" playing a mock drug war in this
game rather than them playing it on the streets. I would want them
being drug dealers in front of a computer than out on the
streets. Thanks to all for any help they might contribute to
society brought about from this game.
