  1. Release Schedule

  3. This is a release schedule for USBBS for the next several
  4. months.  Unless there is some interference, the list is
  5. released on the last weekend of the month unless the first
  6. of the month is on a weekend.  All revisions for the list
  7. should be in by the Wednesday before the release date to
  8. help assure that I get them.
  9.  
  10. PLEASE NOTE:  Because this is a hobby and I do it for free,
  11. I reserve the right to change this schedule without notice.
  12. Notices about distribution are posted on BOBsBBS (916-929-
  13. 7511).  Sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

  15. SYSOPS, please note:  I sometimes have difficulty reaching
  16. the remote update points before the release date.  If the
  17. board is down or constantly busy, I may not be able to
  18. collect the information before the update for that month.
  19. Call BOBsBBS (916-929-7511) to be assured that your update
  20. will be considered for the next edition of the list.

  51. The supply of seven digit telephone numbers in the 215 Area
  52. Code is nearing exhaust.  Over the years, there has been
  53. heavy customer demand for numbers to use with products and
  54. services such as, fax machines, cellular telephones, pagers,
  55. computers, and IdentaRing.  To provide for future telephone
  56. number growth, a new 610 Area Code will be activated in
  57. Southeastern Pennsylvania in January, 1994.

  59. This area code will serve all customers in Chester,
  60. Delaware, Lehigh, Berks, and Northampton Counties.  Portions
  61. of Montgomery, Bucks, Monroe, Carbon, and Lancaster Counties
  62. will also have the new area code.  Please refer to the map
  63. list below.

  67. 1/8/94    Permissive Dialing Begins. Customers may elect to
  68.           use the new area code and are encouraged to do so.
  69.           CPE switching to begin.
  70. 5/27-30/94     Bell of Pennsylvania databases will be
  71.           updated to accept the new area code.  Cutovers
  72.           should not be scheduled for this weekend.
  73. 1/7/95    Permissive Dialing Ends. Customers must dial 1
  74.           plus the designated area code if not dialing
  75.           within their area code.
