  1. What's new in version 3.3 from version 3.2 ?

  3. Well, the major news are:
  4.  
  5. 1. BootMaster can be run from any directory now. No longer a must to be
  6.    in C:\BOOT. Originally the problem occurred because of the AUTOBOOT
  7.    option, but has now been resolved.
  8.  
  9. 2. You can optionally use your own favorite editor when you're in the
  10.    edit menu. (Just don't change the file name, or else the changes
  11.    will have no effect.)

  13. The minor news are:

  15. 3. You can configure individually if you want a warmboot or a coldboot.
  16.    I was told there would be times where this would be of importance.
  17.  
  18. 4. I had users with diskless workstations who wanted to boot from a disk.
  19.    You can now chose to boot from drive C: or drive A:.
  20.  
  21. 5. Some people just can't stand the attempt to boot in any position. That's
  22.    OK, but really should not be done while running under Windows (Microsoft).
  23.    BootMaster is now 'Windows aware', and wont let you do so.

  25. If you're using the AUTOBOOT option oftenly, the next feature might be of
  26. interest:

  28. 6. There is a timeout function and a default function, which means that if
  29.    you turn on your computer and the AUTOBOOT menu comes up, the program
  30.    will continue with booting the chosen favorite (default) configuration.
  31.    In order to do so, chose your favorite (default) configuration, and set
  32.    the amount of seconds of inactivity AUTOBOOT shall wait, before it acts
  33.    on it's own.

  35. Finally, you may now delete all the *.TXT files. They are not needed anymore.
