  12. Okami (also known as O) is a suite of programs for storing, reading
  13. and generating Internet and Mausnet (German) news and mail offline.
  14. The current version supports both UUCP and SOUP for Internet.
  15.  
  16. The program has the following features:

  19.     - up to 256 windows (if the operating system can handle them)

  22.     - semi-automatic PGP interface

  26.     - Rot-13 and Rot-18 encryption
  27.     - built-in metric conversions
  28.     - thread walking
  29.     - pseudo newsgroup for outgoing messages (Outbound)
  30.     - pseudo newsgroups for mail and mail-archive
  31.     - built-in Mausnet support
  32.     - user-definable command-oriented keyboard layout
  33.     - configurable on-screen text effects
  34.     - configurable on-screen TEX conversion
  35.     - command shell interface
  36.     - user-definable quoting style
  37.     - cancel-message generation
