Hi there!
You have successfully self-extracted the Atari Glossary!
You may double-click on GLOSSARY.DOC and browse the file with
your computer's built in file viewer. The best thing to do
though, is to double-click on AV.PRG. It is a terrific file
viewer, that allows you to really jump around inside the Glossary.
The AV.HLP file will explain all the features. You can read the
file with AV.PRG as well! If you leave AV.HLP in the root
directory of what ever disk or partition AV.PRG is on, you will
have on-line help inside of AV.PRG. Handy!
AV.PRG is Freeware!
Alternatively, you can also double-click on RDDINST.PRG. The file
will decompress into the Revenge Document Displayer. Revenge is
a little more versatile than AV.PRG, and it is also shareware.
Please also have a look at the enclosed ORDER.DOC. It is an
order form for the GIANT COMPUTER GLOSSARY. If you like the
Atari Glossary, you will love the Giant Computer Glossary. It is
well produced, inexpensive Shareware, that I hope you will find
absolutely indispensible. Like the Atari Glossary, the Giant
Computer Glossary is a terrific learning tool. The Giant
Computer Glossary is very broadly based, with references to
Atari, Mac, Amiga, PC's, Cray, Unix and some other pretty obscure
stuff that might just win you a trivia contest some day. Order
your copy soon! The order price is $10 Cdn.
Regards, Howard.
