  90. TOPIC_HYPQUEST2     energy be changed
  91. TOPIC_HYPQUEST3        from one form
  92. TOPIC_HYPQUEST4        to another?
  93.
  94. O_TEXTBLOCK_TEXT    When the droid exerts <HL Topic=Force.tpc>FORCE</HL> on the spring and the spring compresses, the droid is doing <HL Topic=Work.tpc>WORK</HL> on the spring.  The <HL Topic=Work.tpc>WORK</HL> is stored in the spring as <HL Topic=Potential.tpc>POTENTIAL ENERGY</HL>.  As soon as the droid lets go, the spring's <HL Topic=Potential.tpc>POTENTIAL ENERGY</HL> is released and changes to <HL Topic=Kinetic.tpc>KINETIC ENERGY</HL> pushing the droid backward.  As the droid comes to a stop, the energy has not been destroyed, but changed to <HL Topic=Heat.tpc>HEAT</HL>.
  95.
  96.
  97. E_QUEST1        What happens when you're on a swing and you stop pumping with your legs?  Why does this happen?
  98. E_QUEST2        How does the energy of a jack-in-the-box change from one form to another?
  99. E_QUEST3        What kind of energy does a pendulum have?
  100.
  101. D_TEXTBLOCK_TEXT    Energy is the ability of an object or system to do <HL Topic=Work.tpc>WORK</HL>.  Something may have energy because of its <HL Topic=Motion.tpc>MOTION</HL> <HL Topic=Kinetic.tpc>(KINETIC ENERGY)</HL>, or because of certain <HL Topic=Force.tpc>FORCES</HL> acting on it which cause energy to be stored                     <HL Topic=Potential.tpc>(POTENTIAL ENERGY)</HL>.  Energy exists in many different forms and changes between them, but it cannot be created or destroyed.
