  3. This software package is freely distributable. The current version is for
  4. evaluation purposes only. It can be copied and distributed in any possible
  5. way. It is not allowed to change this file or the short documentation in
  6. the files SATELLIT.DOC (German) and SATELLIT.ENG (English).

  9. HOW TO GET STARTED?
  10. --------------------

  12. First of all have a look at the file SATELLIT.INI. All changes you have to
  13. do in this file. 
  14.  
  15. 1. Change the location
  16.     - put in your grid square are your longitude and latitude (if there is
  17.       a grid square all other data are ignored)
  18.  
  19. 2. Adjust the time
  20.     - make sure that the programm displays UTC!!!
  21.  
  22. 3. Choose language
  23.     - ENGLISH = 1; ==> the output is English, otherwise German
  24.  
  25. 4. If your are in US. you might like to see miles instead of kilometres...
  26.  
  27. 5. If your system has a 387-coprocessor or higher choose the corresponding 
  28.    value. It increases computation speed because it uses the build-in sin,
  29.    cos,... functions.

  31. 6. Read the doc-file 'satellit.eng' or 'satellit.doc' respectively.

  33. IMPORTANT:

  35. Make sure that your element-sets are up to date. NASA-format should be prefered
  36. due to the element-update feature but AMSAT-format works as well. It is not
  37. necessary to delete any stuff in the input files.

  39. Not all features are documented in the short doc-file. If you feel that 
  40. something should work try it out, maybe it works.
