  4. This is a (fairly) topologically accurate map of St John's College,Cambridge.
  5. Architecturally speaking its fairly reasonable too (at least I think so).
  6. Contains no altered bitmaps,textures, sprites or sounds.
  7. Extensively play tested, designed primarily for deathmatch but single player
  8. is ok. A co-operative ending is required (2 players in co-operation) for a
  9. net game.

  11. Secret passages are (mostly) relevant to St John's College and to the author,
  12. a graduate of St Johns . A working knowledge of St John's will help you find
  13. your way around.

  17. Patch level - E2M1, could be changed if wished.Contains a cyberdemon, so maybe
  18. not E2M8.
  19. Difficulty levels allowed for.
  20. Editors  - doomcad,deu,dmapedit.
  21. Node builders - BSP,IDBSP10
  22. Writing time - about 3 weeks, on and off.

  24. BUGS
  25. ====
  26. When compiled under IDBSP10, there is a Hall of mirrors effect visible at the
  27. top of the "chapel tower" when viewed from the "main gate".This bug disappears
  28. when compiled under BSP.However the IDBSP version is a fair sight faster
  29. (due to having the reject resource) so is more suited to a net game.Both
  30. versions are included.

  34. STJOHNS.WAD - IDBSP compiled, recommended for net.
  35. STJNOHOM.WAD - BSP compiled, slower, no reject, no HOM.

  38. This wad file should not be incorporated/altered without the authors permission.
  39. A Cambridge mission may be put together at some point in the future, time
  40. allowing (the Cavendish physics labs have already been done by somebody else).
