- There are 2 files in this arc file that will give you higher than
- normal screen sizes. To use these 2 files they MUST be renamed to
- "System-Configuration" (note quotes of course) and copied into the devs
- drawer of your WorkBench disk. When you reboot you will have either a 730 by
- 239 screen size when using s-c730x239, or a 730 by 478 when using s-c730x478.

- A stock Amiga 1080 monitor is not able to display these screen
- resolutions without internal adjustments. See the file "more.txt" for
- instructions on how to make these adjustments to your monitor. I have added
- a few additional notes to the instructions. They are in parathesis on top
- of the paragraph.

- By the way, I am using the System-Configuration file in this
- directory on my boot disk. It gives me a workbench screen size of 730 by 239
- or 730 by 478 in interlace. I adjusted the set screw that can be reached
- thru the hole in the back of the Amiga 1080 monitor. It is labeled "Screen
- height". When in interlace mode I can display 58 lines of text plus the
- title-bar. If you figure that 66 lines is standard page size and the
- standard margin for the top and botom is 5 lines each, then I can fit an
- entire page of text on the screen at once!!!! Also with a screen width of
- 730 I can now fit 90 columns of text on screen at the same time. The 730
- by 478 is my favorite because of the extra "Real Estate" it gives me for
- opening windows and running tasks concurrently. I now feel like I have a
- poor mans' work station.
