- The upper left hand corner of the display contains the calendar. To the right
- are string gadgets containing the current day, month and year being displayed.
- Under each string gadget are a pair of increment/decremnent gadgets for changing the
- day, month and year respectively ((@ref help:year-conventions@)specific values(@unref@)
- may be entered direcly in the string gradgets too). Two other gadgets are on
- the right: one for changing the display into an icon; and one to display the
- current date.

- The bottom portion of the display consists of 15 string gadgets for displaying
- notes associated with the currently selected day. These notes may be saved in
- a (@ref help:data-base@)data base(@unref@).

- (@label current-day@)The current day being referenced on the calendar is outlined with a box using
- pen 3. Pen 2 is used as background; pen 1 is used to write the day numbers and
- pen 0 is used to outline days on the calendar which have associated notes in
- the data base.
