OCR: MASTERBLAZER One of the games I used to enjoy on my C64 a few years ago was Ballblazer, well it's back in the guise of Masterblazer. A futuristic, inter-galactic arena built on an asteroid, consisting of a large checkerboard pitch with goals at each end and two rotofoil craft which can be human or computer controlled. The basic idea is to catch the ball and fire it between your opponents goals or goal beams as they are known. The object being to win by ten points to nil (which is known as a shut-out) before the timer runs out. I suggest you begin by playing the lower level droids and working your way up, if you get fed up of playing a straight game you can go for a speed test. This has you racing another rotofoil along a track littered with beams and plasmorbs, to try and inflict ten points of damage on your apponent. If you can score a shut-down in record time against a level 9 droid, your name goes up into the highest ranking Masterblazers of all time . A very fast and addictive game from Rainbow Arts that will have you coming back for more. A fantastic example and improvement of an old 8 bit game. DON'T MISS IT !!!!!!!!!! Overall : 94 % Susan,
