AFP is a small program for the easy formatting and printing of
ASCII files, such as program listings. The program will allow you
using any EPSON compatible printer, to select page length, style and
even enable you to print only certain pages.
On loading you are presented with a panel of options selected
with the mouse these are:
PAGE LENGTH - Clicking here allows you to enter a new page length.
PICA/ELITE - Toggles print pitch between PICA and ELITE
FILE - Click here and enter the filename of the file to
load.
LOAD - Loads the selected file.
PRINT - Print loaded file.
ABOUT - Gives some info on the program.
F.INFO - Displays files length, number of lines and number of
pages.
QUIT - Quit.
When print is selected you will first be asked are you sure to
allow you to cancel the operation and then, if the program needs to
load the printer driver, you will be asked to insert your boot disk.
Finally you will be asked if you want to confirm each page. If you
select no then the entire file will be printed with no further
prompting from you but if you select yes then before each page is
printed a request "print page XXX (OK/CANCEL)" will be displayed
allowing you to print only certain pages or make the computer wait
between pages.
