  11. ^4 Here's a sneak preview of the^3[2 AMOS 3-D Demo![0

  13. ^6 We have managed to have a look at what this latest extension to the
  14. ^6[2AMOS[0 family can produce.
  15.  
  16. ^2 Europress have put together a demo showing a few effects that can be
  17. ^2achieved with the package, they state that it was done after only
  18. ^2three weeks experience of using the program. If this is so, then
  19. ^2anyone who puts in the hours learning how to manipulate the editor
  20. ^2should be able to produce useable effects.

  22. ^4 The Demo starts with a 3-D ball rolling across the screen revealing
  23. ^4text as it goes before spinning off the screen with a whoosh. 
  24.  
  25. ^5 Next come some tiles spelling[2 AMOS[0 which flip around and then tidy
  26. ^5themselves on screen. 
  27.  
  28. ^7 You then see an Amiga with monitor, a disk spins around and flies
  29. ^7into the disk drive, now you are taken into the screen to see what
  30. ^7has been loaded. 
  31.  
  32. ^6 You are in space watching a spaceship zoom around a starry sky,
  33. ^6to the accompaniment of `The Blue Danube'. The action is smooth and
  34. ^6fast considering the amount of mathamatical calculations that are
  35. ^6going on.

  37. ^4 From space you are taken to a race track where two cars, sponsored
  38. ^4by[2 AMOS,[0 are about to have a race. The lights change and away they go
  39. ^4into the distance. They eventually come to grief with a resounding
  40. ^4clash of metal on metal.

  42. ^7 The next scene shows a 3-D telly with an animated face stretching
  43. ^7in all directions with creaks from its strained casing. Then^3 POP!^7 it
  44. ^7explodes giving birth to little replicas of itself which bounce out
  45. ^7of sight.

  47. ^1 Finally, before the credits, you are given a quick look at the
  48. ^1`control panel' of the object modeller itself. It's non-functioning,
  49. ^1so you cann't try it out, but it does let you see what's available.

  51. ^6 This Demo tells you that there are 30 new commands to add to your
  52. ^6[2AMOS[0 vocabulary, as well as the power of the object modeller. It says
  53. ^6that you can add suface detail and the flexible animation it allows
  54. ^6will bring more reality to your 3-D work.

  56. ^4 No-one will find out just what this extension can do until it is
  57. ^4released and you AMOS users out ther get your hands on it!
