  1.     After three months of fighting the Vikings up north, Mike and I
  2. made our way back to find AmoNER waiting for his next release.  Yes,
  3. we were gone for quite a long time, but we are back now.  With all the
  4. material sent to us, the next disk should be a snap.
  5.  
  6.     This issue is divided into two disks because of the lack of space for
  7. the not-so-new AMOS 3D Demo.  We digress . . . Let's go over this issue's
  8. programs:
  9.  
  10.     First, we have a simple intro which was first displayed upon booting
  11. the disk.  It is a simple (simple minded, too) example of a scrolling
  12. routine by Michael Cox.  Also, you can now sleep at night since you finally
  13. know what AmoNER means!  Hip hip hooray!
  14.     Second, we have a small "Screen Offset" scrolly routine by Gal-on.
  15. Since a lot of programs are used to create AmoNER, we decided to include
  16. the (©)copyright lines of those packages - they really do deserve to be
  17. mentioned.
  18.     Both routines are good study material for beginners.  Use them if you
  19. want.
  20.  
  21.     Next, is a Tiny-Hack (which is the name we use for programs under 10k)
  22. from Sweden.  The coder is, using his expression, "The silly game writer"
  23. Niklas Konstenius.  A cute game.  Again, a good hack to kill some time with
  24. and to use as study material.

  26.     For those foolhardy people who have not bought the AMOS Compiler
  27. yet, Mike reviewed the package from the moment of receiving till the
  28. moment of running.  Maybe this will remove any remaining doubts
  29. in your mind . . .

  31.     And last, but not least . . .
  32. This disk's Highlight is the brand, spanking-old demo of AMOS 3D by
  33. Voodoo software.  This is the original demo written to display
  34. AMOS 3D capabilities to the world, but without the "Only for 39.99$"
  35. messages written all over.  The demo comes on the second disk called
  36. "AmoNER004 Extras".  It should be compressed with DMS as "AMONER4E.DMS".
  37. Just boot from the disk and it will run the demo over and over again.
  38. Oh, and do not forget that this demo is way over a year old.  We hope to
  39. receive newer demos soon.
