GP - Interrupt handlers for the IBM Graphics-compatible
printers and Jim Miller's Personal Composer.
Written by: David Sutton, Bethany, Oklahoma
Revised by: Craig Ochikubo, Hilo, Hawaii
Revised by: Allan Tamm, Seattle, Washington
THANK YOU DAVID, CRAIG, & ALLAN !
David Sutton originally developed GP.COM to extend Personal
Composer's Epson FX-80 compatibility to compatibility with ANY
IBM graphics-compatible printer. This has proved to be a fabulous
utility many have relied upon, but with 2 problems: it would not
work with several IBM compatible computers, & it has a slight
printing anomoly (actually Personal Composer's fault).
Craig Ochikubo has rewritten this utility almost from scratch, &
his version eliminated all problems, but came in 4 versions to
support the four combinations of 2 graphics cards and 2 interrupts.
Allan did what was necessary to combine all 4 versions into a single
version, including EGA support. GP.PAS contains this version of
the graphics patch source code for modification.
Directions for installation:
1) Boot computer with DOS 2.0 or higher
2) At DOS prompt enter: gp
3) Answer the prompts
4) Start Personal Composer. Install only once per
computer boot.
