This is a listing of the current CUCUG C64 PD/Shareware software
collection. All of these disks are available from our club, the
Champaign- Urbana Computer Users Group Inc. (a non-profit corporation)
at our regular monthly meetings or via mail-order. All CUCUG C64 disks
are packed to the gills with great games, applications, utilities and
demos that run from an automatic disk menu program. Disks are sold at
meetings only and cannot be ordered through the mail.

PONZO TUTOR: This disk is highly recommended for ANYONE who wants to learn
more about programming their Commodore 64. It is a tutorial series of
programs designed to teach you all about how to make the most of your
machine. Beginners will find that it provides an excellent learning
environment in which to learn about the BASIC language. Use is not just
limited to beginning programmers, however. Later sections provide
valuable insight into such subjects as machine language, graphics, and
sprites.

COMAL: What is COMAL? It is an entirely different language of programming
for your Commodore computer. Originally created in Denmark, COMAL has a
number of advantages over BASIC. It is a structured language (like PASCAL)
but yet still retains many of the BASIC syntax commands. It is said to run
about 60 times faster than BASIC and includes commands that make it much
easier to unlock your C-64's hi-res graphic and sprite abilities. This
disk contains the COMAL language as well as a number of examples and
complete documentation.
