  1. Well, here are some nice Type 1 fonts for use with Adobe Type Manager.
  2. I have heard that they will work with Superprint, but don't actually
  3. know about that!
  4.  
  5. Just install with the Type Manager control panel. Don't worry about
  6. the missing .AFM files....they install just fine!
  7.  
  8. If you have a PostScript printer, make the following change to your
  9. win.ini file, so that the PostScript driver can find the .pfb file.
  10.  
  11. In the  "softfonts" area you will see:
  12.  
  13.         softfonts(#)=c:\psfonts\fontname.pfm
  14.               -> (#)= the font number in the list
  15.  
  16. change this to:
  17.  
  18.         softfonts(#)=c:\psfonts\fontname.pfm,c:\psfonts\fontname.pfb
  19.                                             ^must be a comma!
  20.  
  21. Now, just restart Windows!
