  5.    This function removes a *! or *!*@ from the <user@host>, if it is present.

  8.    It can be used as a quick way to get only the hostname from a full address
  9.    argument.

  12.    arguments without *! or *!*@ in front

  14. Examples:
  15.    $deuhc(*!user@host)                       returns "user@host"
  16.    $deuhc(*!*@host)                          returns "host"
