  4. This is the long awaited update for IBrowse2.2. Please read
  5. the history for a list of all added features and updates.
  6.  
  7. Some of the missing features in the demo version are:
  8. - No support for ftp, gopher or mailto
  9. - Only 1 browser/window open at any time
  10. - Max 2 network connections at the same time
  11.  
  12. Full documentation will be made available at a later date,
  13. when it has been completed, to avoid delaying release more
  14. than necessary.  The old help files have therefore been
  15. included for now, and all references to HiSoft should be
  16. ignored.

  18. Some issues commonly raised on the mailing list, which have
  19. not been resolved yet, are:
  20. - Lack of Shockwave Flash support
  21. - Cascading Style Sheets not supported
  22. - No full colour graphical printing capability (although a
  23.   greyscale printing via PostScript is available)
  24. - Incorrect layout of the final <li> element in nested
  25.   (un)ordered HTML lists
  26. - Back button doesn't function correctly after clicking
  27.   an anchor link

  29. We plan to address these issues for IBrowse 3.0, but in the
  30. meantime we trust that the many improvements available in
  31. IBrowse 2.3 provide a significantly enhanced browsing
  32. experience.
