  16. priests who will have to go on
  17. welfare.>
  18. "    <Tough,> Dr Dee replies. <At least
  19. I exulted in my sins.  Your hypocrisy
  20. "is the only true sin.  What do you say,
  21. Inspector?>
  22. "    You wisely reserve judgment for the
  23. coming millenium.  Or do you?

  25. This is the story if you correctly befriend Dr Dee when Abbot Costello
  26. is the murderer.  Calhoon got a kick out of the Cardinal's bizarre
  27. reasoning that a whimsical eleventh commandment would have that much
  28. effect on 20th century Americans.  He also enjoyed prodding the player
  29. into considering whether <exulting> in one's sins makes them less
  30. "serious.  Well, which is it?  Is it better to be an upfront sinner or
  31. "a sneaky one?  This, in a sense, is the underlying question of the
  32. "mys-adventure, which Calhoon brilliantly sidesteps by letting the
  33. computer's random function choose for him.
