"The building, from a design by St

abbatoir. The monks' cribs are starkly
devoid of any luxuries except for the
"Abbey electrician's, which is filled
with textbooks. From Father Noster's
office comes the sound of bubbling
water.

The Monk's Quarters was actually the first <room> that Calhoon
programmed. He wasn't sure what information he was needed to get
"across so he decided to add something foreign to a monastery: a hot
tub. The receipts you find if you go into the tub and open the
strongbox are nothing more than a clue to Father Noster's criminal
activities.
"
In Father Murphy's crib you can get a clue to the lights in the Library
by reading the textbook mentioned in the clipping from the gate. The
"final number is important, and changes from game to game.
"
Once you make it into the Library you will sooner or later look through
a window and see someone in Father Noster's Office. The next time you
"visit Father Noster's office after that you will spy a briefcase,
containing a Latin-English translator. It's not absolutely necessary
"that you have it, but it comes in very handy for reading signs in the
Library.
