  3. Installation of Q Zone is simple.
  4.  
  5.  
  6.     From Windows 95: 
  7.  
  8.         1). Click on the "Start Up" button on the task bar.
  9.  
  10.         2). Place your cursor over the "Programs" button
  11.                         and click on "MS-DOS Prompt".
  12.  
  13.         3). Switch to your CD-ROM drive.
  14.  
  15.         4). Type  INSTALL  and then press the "Enter" key.
  16.  
  17.         5). Follow the instructions provided.*
  18.  
  19.                 6). Type  QZONE  to begin the adventure. 
  20.             (Note: you need a minimum of 16 Meg RAM
  21.              to play Q Zone from within Windows 95)

  23.     From DOS:

  25.         1). Switch to your CD-ROM drive.
  26.  
  27.         2). Type INSTALL and then press the "Enter" key.
  28.  
  29.         3). Follow the simple instructions provided.*

  31.                 4). Type QZONE to begin the adventure.

  34. System Requirements:
  35.  
  36.         Pentium class CPU or better (P-120 recommended).
  37.         DOS 6.x  or Windows 95
  38.         16 Meg RAM
  39.         CD-ROM drive.
  40.                 26 Meg free on the hard disk on which Quake is installed.
  41.  
  42.                NOTE WELL: You must already own the registered version of
  43.                         Quake to play QZone.

  48. Notes: during the installation process, you will be asked where
  49.     Quake is installed and the full path of quake.exe.
  50.  
  51.     You will first be asked to provide the drive and directory
  52.     where Quake is installed.  
  53.  
  54.     After the installation is finished, you will be returned to
  55.     to the DOS prompt in your Quake directory.  A message will
  56.     appear saying "Type QZONE to continue."  Typing QZONE will
  57.     launch the Q Zone front-end.
  58.  
  59.     The 1st time the Q Zone front-end is launched, you will be
  60.     asked for the full path for quake.exe.
  61.  
  62.     If you are unsure of where Quake is installed, from Windows 95
  63.     you can use the Find utility.
  64.  
  65.         Click on the "Start" button
  66.  
  67.         Place cursor on "Find"
  68.  
  69.         Click on "Files or Folders"
  70.  
  71.         Then type quake.exe and press the "Enter" key.
  72.           (This will cause Windows 95 to search for quake.exe
  73.            on your C: drive.  If you have more than one hard 
  74.             drive, you can make Windows 95 search all your drives.)

  76.         Once located, the full path of quake.exe will be
  77.         displayed.

  81.          If Quake is installed in C:\quake
  82.  
  83.         when prompted during the installation, type C:\quake
  84.  
  85.         when prompted when launching the front-end for the
  86.             first time, type C:\quake\quake.exe
  87.  
  88.       If Quake is installed in E:\games\id\quake
  89.  
  90.         you would type  E:\games\id\quake   
  91.                               and
  92.                     E:\games\id\quake\quake.exe
  93.             when prompted during installation and when
  94.             launching the front-end for the first time,
  95.             respectively.
