  1. NoteWorthy Composer 1.11, Notation Processor for Windows

  3. A Shareware music composition and notation processor for Windows,
  4. providing for the creation, play back, and printing of your own 
  5. musical scores. You can:

  7. - Import and automatically notate your existing MIDI files

  9. - Export your creations to MIDI files for use in other apps

  11. - Print your whole score (for a conductor's view), or just

  49. ** Upgrade Instructions For Owners of NoteWorthy 1.0:
  50. We recommend that you retain your existing application files until
  51. after you have successfully installed and used this new version.
  52. By default, the setup procedure will install this new version in
  53. a directory different from the default directories used in previous
  54. versions of NoteWorthy Composer. Once you are satisfied with the
  55. performance of this new version, you should go ahead and remove 
  56. the previous version, as described in its original help file.

  58. ** Upgrade Instructions For Existing Users of NoteWorthy Composer:
  59. If you are installing NoteWorthy Composer on top of a previous
  60. copy of version 1.10, all of the files will be updated properly
  61. in the SETUP procedure. If you have changed any of the sample 
  62. files, or you have added your own instrument lists to the 
  63. NTWPATCH.INI file, then you may wish to save these files 
  64. somewhere else before invoking the setup procedure.

  66. ** Installation Instructions:
  67. If you have received the NoteWorthy files in an archive such as a
  68. ZIP file, extract the files into either a temp directory on your 
  69. hard drive, or onto a dedicated diskette.
  70.  
  71. Run the SETUP application that is contained in this directory
  72. or diskette that you created. For example, if you extracted the
  73. application files into a disk in drive A:, then from the Program
  74. Manager you would select the Run command from the File menu, type
  75. A:\SETUP and press enter.
  76.  
  77. Once SETUP starts executing, just follow the prompts. After the
  78. install is complete, an on-line context sensitive help file can
  79. guide you the rest of the way.
