  11. It is strongly recommended that you copy applications from this directory
  12. if they are to be used regularly onto a hard drive or network drive. This
  13. will allow the applications to load, and in some cases run, faster.

  15. The !Portfolio thumbnail pictures are designed to look best in 256 colour
  16. modes. Under RISC OS 3 they will appear in other modes, under RISC OS 2 they
  17. will only be visible in 256 colour modes.

  19. It is necessary to have an outline font manager installed on your machine in
  20. order to run !AWViewer.
