Labels: text | screenshot OCR: VOICE OF THE LION CIMHANADA, shown here on the back of a lion, is one of the most popular deities in Asian Buddhism, a religion that has grown out of the teachings of Gautama Buddha (563 BC-483 BC). He hears the cries of all people in need, and is a powerful savior when danger threatens. One of his many names is "the voice of the lion," and Buddhist art often shows him seated on a lion.
