  19. I really can't see what this fuss about CTRL A is all about.
  20. In papyrus I solved the text loss danger like this:
  21. When the whole text is marked via mark all/CTRL A, a flag is set that the
  22. block is non-overwriteable. Delete works (after all there is still Undo),
  23. but when the user tries to overwrite it, the block is deselected and the typing
  24. ends up at the beginning of the document.
