This is the doc file for LC.EXE. LC.EXE is a Windows 3.0 application
that performs text oriented calculations.
This archive should contain the following files:
LC.EXE - Line calculator program. This is the only
file needed to run LC. The other files
contain documentation and source and
may be safely erased if disk space is
needed.
LC.DOC - This file.
LC.UL - Compuserve description file.
SOURCE.TXT - Source, make, and resource files for
a client application.
To install LC...
1. Move the LC.EXE file into your windows directory.
2. From the Program Manager window, select the New
option. This will be a Program Item.
3. Use the Browse option and select the file called
LC.EXE.
4. Use the Change Icon option to select a meaningful
icon for yourself.
To run LC...
After initiating the program, type in an expression, like
2 + 2. Hit the ENTER key.
Use the Help menu to inquire about specific functions.
Note that LC likes to settle down in the lower right corner
of your screen. Nothing is gained by maximizing its
window.
LC was written by Garry J. Vass [72307,3311] in December, 1990.
It is public domain and may be used in any context. There are
no warranties expressed or implied. It should be distributed,
however, in its original state. Encourage uploads. Keep
