  12.    It also lists the files distributed with Ver 5.50, and 
  13.    explains how to upgrade from previous versions.

  75.    GETTING STARTED
  76.    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  77.    The information provided below is to help you start the program for 
  78.    your hardware configuration.  For more details about the operation of 
  79.    the program press the F1 (function) key once you have started the 
  80.    program.

  82.    The following files are absolutely essential to run AS-EASY-AS:

  84.    ASEASY.EXE  ASEASY.MSG  ASEASY.MNU  ASEASY.FNT
  85.  
  86.    These  files need to reside in the same sub-directory.  In 
  87.    addition to that, if the files ASEASY.HLP, ASEASY.PRT, and 
  88.    ASEASY.CFG are going to be used, they HAVE to reside in the same 
  89.    (ASEASY) directory as well.

  92.     AS-EASY-AS is started from DOS using the command:

  94.     C:> ASEASY /Option1/Option2/Option3/.....     [ENTER]

  97.     Where Option can be one or more of the following:

  100.     /4       - Special case for loading WKS files created and last saved 
  101.                with Version 4.00 of AS-EASY-AS.
  102.     /P       - Use alternate menu file (ASEASY.MN2) which provides
  103.                 command compatibility with version 4.00 of AS-EASY-AS.
  104.     /ATT     - Enables ATT display graphics, video mode $48
  105.     /ATT2    - Enables ATT display graphics, video mode $40
  106.     /AUTO=File... - Specify the worksheet to be loaded
  107.                      when the program is started
  108.     /BK=x    - Set screen blank-out period to x seconds
  109.     /BM      - Bypass Mono Detection Scheme
  110.     /CFG=xxx - Specify the configuration file to use
  111.     /CTR     - Center column identifying letters
  112.     /DIR=Path..  -  Set the Path to the WKS files
  113.     /DW      - Color protected cells after /RL command is used
  114.     /E       - Enables graphics for EGA 
  115.     /EM      - Enables mono EGA Mode
  116.     /EV      - Enables Graphics for VGA 
  117.     /EVM     - Enables Graphics VGA mono mode
  118.     /H       - Enables graphics for Hercules
  119.     /H2      - Enables graphics for Hercules, Video Pg. 2
  120.     /MONO    - Changes colors to white on black (CGA card) 
  121.     /N486    - Disable 387 Error Trap Masking on 486 systems
  122.     /NE      - DO NOT use EMS even if found 
  123.     /NT      - No Turbo Keyboard.  Also disable status blinking.
  124.     /NR      - No recalc Linking.  Forces Manual Recalc.
  125.     /NW      - Use Nth bin model rather than Nth+1 (default)
  126.     /Q       - Quick screen updating for CGA
  127.     /RA      - Round Absolute (e.g. 1.6 to 2., -1.6 to -2.)
  128.     /UK      - Set the currency to £ and @DATE to DD/MM/YY
  129.     /VM=nnn  - Use Virtual (disk) EMS model, nnn-Pages (4k each)
  130.     /VP=Path - Set Path for Virtual (disk) memory File 
  131.     /V1      - Force CGA Emulation (normally on VGA Monitor)
  132.     /XM=nnn  - Use only nnn pages of EMS (each page is 16K)

  135.      A> ASEASY /E/DIR=C:\Data [ENTER]
  136.      Starts AS-EASY-AS for an EGA type monitor, and instructs the 
  137.      program that the data files will be located on drive C, 
  138.      in subdirectory "Data".

  183.    To Install on Floppy or Hard Disk:

  185.    Although the program will work if installed on 360k diskettes, we 
  186.    recommend that the program is installed either on a hard disk, or a 
  187.    high density floppy diskette, since this will permit the help file, 
  188.    the printer setup files, and other auxiliary files, to be available 
  189.    to the user.
